My father was a LT JG in the US Navy based out of Miramar in San Diego, CA. On January 13th 1975, he was killed flying a jet while conducting routine training. I have no recollection of my father but his spirit lives on within me and I know he would be proud to know that I am giving back to help a great organization like Folds of Honor. Losing the love of her life and having three young kids at the time of his death, my mom somehow persevered and raised us working multiple jobs and just doing every thing she could to ensure we received the best education and the best life possible. Having three kids of my own, I could not imagine how difficult it was for her to do this on her own. This is why I feel Folds of Honor is so important and we are very passionate about giving back to those who have lost a loved one or can no longer provide for their family.
